Between September 2015 and April 2016, five workshops and round tables were held in the “Media Resource: Journalists work with NGO experts” project. During these events, the seven journalists taking part in the project and numerous representatives of Romanian NGOs debated the best methods through which the two parties can collaborate and what subjects could be tackled in their articles. The goal was to take advantage of the expertise of NGOs and raise their visibility through:

• the creation of an online database to summarise and bring together in one place information about the resources and expertise of NGOs, thereby facilitating journalists’ access to them,
• collaboration on a series of reports and investigations, developed in a professional context, with strict adherence to journalistic norms.
